· Severity: Moderate

· Notes for Consumers: Side effects from Apalutamide may get worse if you drink grapefruit juice or eat grapefruit regularly. Contact your health care provider if you experience diarrhea, increased blood pressure, fatigue, nausea, joint pain, hot flashes, or other unusual effects.

· Notes for Professionals: The exposure to apalutamide may be significantly increased in patients who regularly consume grapefruit or grapefruit juice, a strong CYP3A4 inhibitor.
